The photography of horses has been a life-long passion for photographer Josie Belknap, and she has had the opportunity to photograph some of the most beautiful of equines.   Her vision, depth, and sensitivity to the beauty, the individuality, and the moods of our beloved equine is unsurpassed and she is able to create a feeling in each photograph through her gift for composition.

Josie has had the privilege to photograph the cover of NW Morgan magazine, also photograph the cover of a prestigious hunter-jumper event and periodical, as well as many other numerous horse shows.  She has also become the favorite photographer for WildWind art, who regularly uses Josie’s pictures for her subjects in black and white pencil art.
